Flores x Thoss's collaborative approach produces a layered, multidimensional collection of images that goes beyond the work of two separate photographers. While Alfonso crafts structural compositions with the quality of a classic film still, Holger captures unscripted, in-between moments with the eye of a documentarian.
Though their aesthetics differ, both share a commitment to move beyond the expected and pursue the genuine. This informs their unified vision: to reveal how thin the boundary between life and art truly is.
It is within the handmade artist book that this boundary is most deliberately blurred. Images by both photographers are carefully sequenced, highlighting the relationships and moments of connection that make up the rhythm of a celebration. With handmade covers and museum-quality binding, these volumes present the wedding as an enduring work of art.

HOLGER THOSS
Holger Thoss is a New York-based photographer with a German accent whose work spans more than thirty years of fine art and documentary photography. His work unfolds like a visual chronicle rather than an album of photographs, with gritty textures and blurred lines that highlight the importance of in-between moments.
Holger’s attention to intuition, trust, and intimacy appears throughout his work as a sustained commitment to capturing the rituals and relationships that shape everyday life.

ALFONSO FLORES
Alfonso Flores is an international photographer based in Mexico City. He brings an editorial sensibility to his practice, creating images reminiscent of the Golden Age of Cine Mexicano through his embrace of line, contrast, and magical realism.
His creative process is deeply intentional, extending from initial observation to sequencing and materiality, ensuring every commission results in a permanent, structural narrative.

AMELIA ALVAREZ
Amelia Alvarez is the Creative Producer behind FLORES×THOSS. She oversees communications, scheduling, and final delivery, bridging the practices of two distinct photographers into one cohesive client experience.
Beyond her logistical precision and warm presence, Alvarez is a photographer drawn to capturing the uniquely fashionable.
